Giethoorn is a village in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located in the municipality of Steenwijkerland, about 5 km southwest of Steenwijk. Some houses are for sale, but the condition is you have to live there to buy the thatched-roof house, I live in Amsterdam and I cannot buy it. About half a millions € depends on size and maintenance. This place is so beautiful it almost seems unreal, but I realized I see no electricity wires is there any? and how? I would really appreciate a response.
Electrical wires are all underground over here in the Netherlands. And believe me... its as real as real can be.

Only in 'het Groene Hart', near Gouda they have them at some places. The ground is too hard to put them in there ;)
